We also learned about the letter Rr and reviewed the number 4.

Nursery Rhymes and Dr. Seuss

Last week we began our focus on rhyming words. We will be testing your child's ability to pick out words that rhyme later in the year. Please practice making words that sound the same at the end, even nonsense words help build this skill. We also learned about the letter Nn and reviewed the number 3.

We had a visit from Dr. Sally Nazer and Dr. Ben Gelhaus! They shared with us information about how and why we should brush our teeth. We found out what foods and drinks are healthy for our teeth and even though ice cream and soda taste good-we shouldn't have them all the time because of the sugar in them.

This week is all about Dr. Seuss and continuing our focus on rhyming. We will be makings some fun projects involving characters from this special author's books.

Reminders:
--The next FBI event is being held Friday, March 3rd in the Stetsonville Elementary gym at 1:15.
